HouseUp is a real estate platform allowing homeowners to list, sell, and rent properties without realtor fees. Built for the Canadian market with listings across Toronto, Ottawa, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, and Markham. As Full Stack Developer, I built the complete platform from frontend to backend.
The platform needed to provide all the functionality of traditional real estate services while eliminating the need for realtors. This included property listing systems for buy, sell, and rent, neighborhood exploration with property counts, vendor marketplace connecting sellers with service providers, and virtual lawyer closing integration.
Full Stack Development & MLS Integration
Building the complete platform required expertise in React.js, Java, Spring Boot, Flutter, Swift, MongoDB, REST APIs, and payment integration. The platform integrated with MLS (Multiple Listing Service) to provide comprehensive property data, while the vendor marketplace created a network of service providers to support homeowners throughout the selling process.
Building platforms that disrupt traditional industries requires understanding both the technical and business challenges.

The key to successful mobile app development is understanding user needs and technical constraints. Through designing mobile app interfaces for iOS and Android platforms and collaborating with development teams, I've learned that the best mobile apps balance functionality, performance, and user experience. This approach has enabled me to deliver applications that users love and businesses rely on.
Membership System & CRM
The membership subscription system (monthly/annual plans) required secure payment processing and subscription management. The user dashboard needed to provide property management tools, while the CRM system enabled vendor management and relationship tracking. This comprehensive platform demonstrated the full-stack capabilities needed to build a complete marketplace from scratch.
